Material Memory is an exhibition of Studio Art MFA students who are exploring the ways in which materials hold on. Imprinted in materials are stories of bodies, homes, migrations, and moments. The materials in this exhibition are pressed, printed, sewn, painted, digitized, and meticulously appended. What is carried, what is preserved, and what is transformed lives in the fibers, surfaces, and structures of these works.
